About

Founded in 2003, The Colorado Coalition for Gender and Information Technology (CCGIT) is a partnership of higher education, government, industry, and foundations committed to increasing the number of women and girls entering career paths in Information Technology.

We connect community college students with four year institutions, military spouses with training and employment, and K-12 girls with the exciting world of technology. Our programs, grounded in extensive research and based on best practices, are designed to help girls and women connect with and capitalize on rewarding IT education and work opportunities.

Getting women into four-year computer science and IT programs is a crucial step in increasing their earning potential and filling the needs of the IT workforce.
